SkinPen Microneedling

Reboot your skin with microneedling

FAQs

What can I expect during the treatment?

We start by gently cleansing your skin and applying a topical numbing cream to minimise discomfort to the area we're treating.

Once the skin is ready, our experienced dermal therapist will guide the SkinPen across the skin to create millions of controlled micro-wounds to target natural collagen and promote the skin's natural healing process.

What are the side effects?

After your treatment, you may notice some redness or inflammation, which is totally normal and should subside within 24 hours to 72 hours.

What results can you expect?

You'll start to see an instant glow in your skin almost immediately. Once the skin begins to heal, the results get even better as your skin ramps up its collagen production.

With as few as three non-invasive and affordable treatments spaced 30 days apart, you can improve your appearance for six months after your last treatment – and step out with confidence.

How do I prepare for my treatment?

We always like to start with a skin consultation, where we can determine if SkinPen is right for you. We'll also recommend pre- and post-skin care to ensure you achieve optimal results.

Post-care, follow up and next steps.

Post-care: Keep your skin clean and moisturised, stay out of direct sunlight immediately after your treatment, and wear broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect your skin and maintain results.

Follow-up: You can expect improvements in the appearance of your skin in as few as three sessions spaced 30 days apart.

Most of our clients see improvement in their skin in the first month after their first
treatment!

The best part is that your skin continues to improve for up to six months after a SkinPen treatment and new collagen is produced.

Next Steps: We'll create a personal treatment schedule based on your unique needs.

Is this treatment suitable for me?

When considering SkinPen, we'll ensure it's a good fit for you. SkinPen has been clinically proven effective for all skin types and can be used on all skin tones, from fair to dark.

It is not suitable for those with active skin cancer, open wounds, or irritated skin areas; allergies to stainless steel or anaesthetics; bleeding disorders; or those who are pregnant, nursing, or taking isotretinoin.

A consultation with our dermal therapist will help ensure SkinPen is the right choice for you. During this consultation, we'll discuss your skincare goals and expectations.

For us, it's all about helping you care for your skin in the safest way possible!
